A Singapore-based US agriculture company
invited the chief of an Indonesian bean importer to participate in a
co-invention session. Using the Creativity and Innovation Process, they
co-invented new solutions. Subsequently,
the Indonesian bean importer signed an agreement to buy beans from the US
company exclusively for a year.
A Japanese shipping company wanted to expand
into new business with the existing resources. The executive with the help of the other participants came
up with the idea of providing full relocation services for expatriates.
A group of Malaysian managers from an
international hotel came up with the concept of “taste
thermometer” to maintain the quality of food served by the kitchen.
A group of managers from a holiday resort
wanted to increase its appeal.
One of the ideas they created was to set up a pet hotel by the
hotel. This would appeal to pet
lovers who want to bring their pets along for holidays.
